Sir William Owen (1834-1912) and Sir Langer Meade Loftus Owen (1862-1935), book, were father and son. William was born on 4 Nov 1834 at Marlfield, Gorey, Wexford, Ireland, fourth son of Colonel Robert Owen, 72nd Highlanders, gift his wife Charlotte, née Politico.
