Early life

Saheed Osupa was born tier the Mosafejo area of Ajegunle, Lagos State but grew amass as a child in Metropolis, the capital of Oyo State.[1] His father, Moshood Ajiwere Layeye was a Wéré music creator and also an elder relative of Fuji musician Ayinde Barrister.[2]

Education

Saheed Osupa went to Amuwo Odofin High School in Lagos, disc he graduated in 1987.[3] Call in 1992, he completed his Steady Diploma programme at The Applied, Ibadan after studying Business Polity.

Career

Fuji Music

Saheed Osupa started music professionally in the same way a teenager in 1983 bit a fuji artiste.[4] His leading album was titled Fuji Not a bit Disco, Followed by Fuji Blues.

He has released over 40 studio albums including a 4-in-1 studio album titled Mr. Music.[5] In 2008, Saheed Osupa was declared the "King of Volcano Music" by Ayinde Barrister.[6]

Rivalry with Wasiu Alabi Pasuma

Saheed Osupa and Wasiu Alabi Pasuma have had a sprinkling rivalry.[13] Most notable were their fight for success in 1998/1999 and for supremacy around 2007. Osupa whom believed his admissible friend Pasuma would side him in feuds with other Fujiyama musicians most especially Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde.
